Located about 20km from Ohrid, Trpejca is a great family beach because it has several restaurants on the beach. So, you can stay there the whole day. The water is crystal clear and the combination of small pebbles and rocks makes it a must-visit place for swimmers.
It is a pretty large beach, although sometimes it tends to be a little crowded.

Slavija is the closest out-of-town beach and the most popular between the citizens in Ohrid. It has sandy banks but the water isn't that much clear. It's nice for small children but it's always overcrowded unless you visit in early or late summer.

Located about 6km from Ohrid town, Inex Gorica is one of the nearest beaches. It isn't overcrowded and it's quite peaceful. It's nice for families with children but also for young people as there is a cafe on the beach. The entrance of the water is covered with pebbles and when you go deeper there are bigger rocks. The water is crystal clear. There is also an exciting climb to get to the beach. Overall, it's a nice beach and you won't be disappointed by the visit.

Lagadin is one of the most popular family beaches in Ohrid. It is usually peaceful and not too overcrowded. It's good to know that even though the beach bank contains pebbles, there are big rocks in the water. So, it's good to wear specialized water shoes to not get cut.

The beach is a part of the Granit hotel complex filled with a pool, parking, sport fields and more! It is great for younger people, so if you are young, grab your friends and go to Granit beach. You can rent a sun bed, order a relaxing cocktail or juice, and relax. We wouldn't recommend this beach for families or elderly people because it tends to get overcrowded.

These beaches aren't as bi as the ones mentioned above but you could get to them by foot and also enjoy swimming with a scenic view of Ohrid old town

Beach description:
Located in the heart of the old town, Potpes beach is most visited by local people as it is the only pebble beach in town. To get to the beach you have to cross the well known Bridge of Dreams.
You can also find some water snakes there. But, don't worry, they aren't poisonous! they usually hide from people and come out late in the evening.
Saraiste Beach

Kaneo beach is located right bellow the famous church St. Jovan Kaneo.
It is a small family friendly beach. There is a restaurant next to the beach where you can eat all delicacies from these parts of Macedonia. The water is clear and the view is great!

Orevche is one of the Gradishte beaches. Mainly visited by young people, this beach bar provides fresh drinks, music, relaxation and chilling in the water. It is a good place to visit if you want music and bars but you don't want to bear with a lot of people, because unlike Jungle beach, Orevche is less overcrowded.
